You must accept all the guidelines below to become a paid member.
- Before joining, members shall submit their full contact details as asked in the prelimnary mail, else their request to join wont be accepted.

1 year implies financial year from april to march. Members joining in between an year shall shall pay for the rest of the months with minimum payment being of 3 months.

Fees shall be payable in cash or cheque in the name of Indian Whistlers’ Association. The zonal heads can be contacted for these details.

Membership fees collected are for conducting regular meetings and zonal level competitions. These expenses include hall rental, snacks/lunch, stationary, courier, judges fees/gifts, sound system etc. These do not cover any expenses incurred on shows and stage events.

Membership fees are subject to revision from time to time. Members shall be informed about the same & about the mode of payment also.

Smaller zones having less than 20 members shall conduct minimum 1 show per year.

Larger zones having more than 20 members shall conduct minimum 2 shows per year.

Memberships need to be atleast 3 months old before members can get a chance to compete or perform in a show. Example- a person joining in say november cannot participate in any shows until february.

Attendance in meetings should be atleast 50% and in practice meetings atleast 75% to be eligible to perform in shows.

Participation in shows is on merit and rotation basis and is a privilege for whistlers and not their right. Elite membership does not automatically guarantee participation in shows.

All elite members are expected to standup for the cause of spreading whistling and strengthening the association by shouldering responsibilities like arranging venues, selling tickets, getting sponsors and helping the committee in organizing such events when required.

Each zone shall have a committee of min. 3 and max. 5 (depending upon zone size and on the zone head) active and paying members that shall decide about the shows, events, sponsorship, sale of tickets, etc.
